Personal
My wife, Monika, and I have lived in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago as empty nesters since 1981. Although being transplants, we are proud to call Chicago home and devote time and energies in supporting our neighborhood Old Town Triangle Association. Interested in discovering more about the Old Town Triangle Association? Visit www.oldtowntriangle.com. There you can learn about Old Town's rich history, explore behind the scenes of one of America's most prestigious art fairs, find additional links of interest such as the City of Chicago or Lincoln Park Zoo websites, and much more. While being a self-described sports enthusiast, I relegate my energies to the single sport of golf. My wife, however, has had a profound influence on my other interests that have evolved from caring for our own dogs and cats to our volunteer efforts with a number of Chicago area animal shelters in rescuing, socializing and training distressed animals and helping them find new homes. My parents always taught me it's not how you find things, it's how you leave them, and my wife and I continue to build on that philosophy through animal and environmental related causes.
